The Permanent Makeup Eyeliner Procedure beautifies and enhances the appearance of the eyes by implanting pigment between the lashes. The procedure not only results in the lashes appearing thicker, but the eyes look larger, becoming the focal point of the face.

Permanent eyeliner is delicately applied with a sterile applicator made specifically for fine, detailed facial work, utilizing themicro-pigmentation process. (Each applicator is for a one-time use only). Color is applied along both the upper and lower lash lines, creating a defined but soft radiance around the eyes. If a stronger look is desired, thickness of the color may be increased gradually over several sessions.

Who Benefits From Permanent Eyeliner

What could be better than to wake up looking as good in the morning as you did in the evening? To many people, the thought of never having to worry about smudging eyeliner ever again seems like a futuristic dream. With the new eyeliner procedure offered by Ashley Swain P.A., the future is now.

The benefits of this exciting procedure are being discovered by more and more women and men. Older women with poor eyesight and unsteady hands find permanent Eyeliner highly beneficial. As important, women who travel, swim or camp enjoy the freedom of looking their best even under the most active conditions. In addition, those with allergies, mothers and professionals with busy schedules who want to look their best, all benefit from Permanent Eyeliner.

Determining Whether To Do Permanent Upper Eyeliner, Permanent Lower Eyeliner, Or Both

Some people feel both upper and lower eyeliner suits their needs best, while others feel only an upper or a lower eyeliner is appropriate for them. You have the option of doing just the upper Permanent Eyeliner Procedure, just the Lower Permanent Eyeliner Procedure or the Upper and Lower Permanent Eyeliner Procedure.

If both the Upper and Lower Permanent Eyeliner procedures are done, Ashley Swain PA takes expert precaution in not connecting the exterior canthus (tissue connecting the upper and lower eyelid). This tissue is extremely thin and delicate that could migrate out from the eye toward the temple.

Determining The Thickness And Density Of The Permanent Eyeliner

As with all of Ashley Swain’s Permanent Makeup procedures, the first step involves taking the time to consult with each client to determine the appropriate thickness and density of the Permanent Eyeliner. It is critical for Ashley to understand how each client sees and feels about his or her appearance and beauty. The Ashley Swain P.A Permanent Eyeliner Procedure can vary from the most subtle enhancement to a very dramatic look, depending on the thickness of the permanent eyeliner. You have the option of going a little wider to create a more dramatic look or thinner to create a more subtle improvement to the clients overall beauty.

Whatever look you choose, the Ashley Swain Permanent Eyeliner procedure will really enhance the effect of thicker lashes. In addition, you will wake up, shower, exercise, work, swim, and go to bed always looking your best. No more tattle tale eyeliner smear or smudge during the day, no more concern when participating in sports activities and best, your appearance remains consistently fresh appearing throughout the day and night.

Considering A Permanent Eyeliner “Enhancer Procedure”

A popular procedure, particularly among men, and women seeking a more subtle yet more polished look, is the Permanent Makeup Eyeliner Enhancer Procedure. This procedure is done by placing small, precise amounts of pigment between the lashes. The result provides more vibrance to the appearance of the eye, without any indication that makeup or mascara has been applied.

Color Section For Permanent Eyeliner

Finding the right color, requires special color training, years of field experience, and an artistic eye. Color selection is one of the most critical areas of Permanent Makeup in general. At Ashley Swain P.A., most of our corrective procedures involve correcting poorly matched permanent pigment.

There is no “one color fits all” when it comes to finding the right Permanent Eyeliner. During the Permanent Eyeliner consultation Ashley will work with each individual to examine their natural skin tones, hair color, eye shape and facial symmetry. The primary focus of the consultation will be to understand the client’s perception of his or her appearance and then understanding their goals and objectives in achieving their desired look.

As an example, poorly placed reddish tones in the Permanent Makeup Eyeliner can create tired or sickly appearance since it highlights the veins and vascular structures inside the eye and face. Eyeliner that is applied with too much grey can create an “ashy,” pale or washed out appearance. In finding the color that is right for you, it is sometimes helpful to bring a pictorial representation of your preferred eyeliner design or a picture showing you at your best.

The Permanent Makeup Eyeliner Procedure

The Eyeliner procedure is done through two visits. The first visit includes the consultation which will identify the proper placement, thickness, and color. Once these factors have been determined Ashley will begin the procedure.

Topical anesthetic will be applied first to keep you comfortable and pain free throughout the procedure. The skin on the eyes is very receptive to topical anesthetics so discomfort will be minimum.

When you leave here you look like nothing happened, but it is important to go home and apply ice throughout the rest of the day and evening. The next day you will experience some swelling which will subside quickly with proper icing. It takes about a week for the area to exfoliate and the color will drop in intensity up to 50%.

A second procedure is scheduled after 6 weeks to perfect the eyeliner with necessary tweaks, increase in color, thickness or shape.
